Chuck Brown well known for getting a crowd moving with his legendary Go-Go has passed away May 16, 2012. The 75 year old Legendary Brown had been in the John Hopkins University Hospital for two months ailing from pneumonia and died of multiple organ failure including heart failure or heart problems.
Born in Gaston, N.C. he fell into D.C arms in 1960s playing guitar with Jerry Butler and The Earls of Rhythm, joining Los Latinos in 1965 . Brown’s early hits include “I Need Some Money” and “Bustin’ Loose”. “Bustin’ Loose” has been adopted by the Washington Nationals baseball team as its home run celebration song.
